The Elders, after prayer and discussion, have decided that we as a church body should follow the recommended White House and CDC Coronavirus Guidelines released March 16, 2020. Part of those recommended guidelines are that for the next 15 days, groups of more than ten people not gather. This means that our church body will not meet at our church building for at least the next two Sundays for any ministry activities. This includes; Sunday School, Worship, Awana, Prayer Meeting, Men’s and Ladies Bible Studies, Mary Martha, and any other church activities which take place in the church building.
And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27We have not made this decision out of the fear of man, but instead we see this as a call to love our fellow man. We are also encouraging you to follow the current White House guidelines. We believe that social distancing, that is limiting contact, can help limit the spread of the Coronavirus and in turn can help prevent the impact this virus will have in our collective communities. Our concern is especially for the elderly and those with impaired immune systems, who are at a greater mortality risk if they contact this highly contagious virus.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
